A presentation for the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Convention & Expo 2012. I’ll be part of the UHCC “Economic Growth Through Connected Communities” conference, giving the same presentation at two different times in the afternoon student track workshops.
Managing your electronic persona
Students today grew up in a world of broadband Internet. Not only are they concerned with knowing the right people and being in the right places, they also recognize the importance of their digital persona.
This workshop will help students focused on transitioning from college to full-time employment understand online opportunities and challenges. From developing a strong professional online persona to understanding how social media participation helps both individuals and brands secure top organic search placement, we’ll address best practices for curating an effective professional online presence. The session will include examples from brands and individuals as well as case studies and strategies of social media success.
